Nereids Partnership with Swimply

We are excited to be announcing a partnership with Swimply! Nereids and swimply are teaming up to help more Sydneysiders learn how to swim.

Australia is a nation of swimmers. In fact, 2.7 million of us have access to 1.3 million backyard pools so it’s no surprise that swimming is rated the number one activity for Australian families. Although that number may seem high, the flip side to this means that 87% of us don’t have access to private household pools. With so many of us learning how to swim in a backyard pool access to them is more important now than ever before

Swimply is determined to provide Australians with more access to private swimming pools than ever before!

What is Swimply?

Swimply is like Airbnb for private pools, connecting those looking for a place to swim with people who want to make money by renting out their pool.

From just $25 per hour, Australians can bring together their family and friends and rent a private pool, with many listings also providing access to BBQ facilities and pool toys, making it the perfect (and affordable) ‘daycation’ or swimming lesson.

Pool owners can now earn extra income (particularly helpful in today's increasingly more expensive environment) by becoming a Host and renting out their pool on Swimply, with many hosts finding that the money made on Swimply not only covers pool and/or general household expenses, but also provides them with a lucrative side hustle. Non-pool owners benefit by now having the luxury of affordable access to pools.

How does Swimply work?

● Hosts list their pools on Swimply.com along with their available amenities such as bathrooms, pool floaties, BBQ’s, WIFI etc. as well as restrictions such as maximum number of guests per visit, pets etc.

● By heading to Swimply.com or by using the Swimply app, pool seekers (guests) are able to browse local pools and view reviews prior to booking.

● Booking a pool is a simple process, with guests requesting the pool they’d like to book (via the app or online) which will be automatically confirmed once the host has approved the request. Once confirmed, the guest will receive an email with the exact address, arrival/departure information, WIFI codes and anything else required for their reservation.

● Swimply guests and hosts can message prior to booking, addressing any questions and make sure they are each ready for the booking.

Become a host on Swimply

If your pool is sitting there barely being used then perhaps it’s worth putting it to work!

Support Nereids Aquatic Coaching in its mission to help more people learn how to swim by becoming a host on Swimply and providing access to your pool to more people.

Hosting on Swimply is easy:

1. Create your listing: set your price, add photos and detail your property and amenities

2. Accept reservations: manage guests on the the swimply platform who receive all information there in the one place

3. Get paid: guests are charged upfront and payout is made securely to you

Renting your pool by the hour means you decide when it’s available for people to book and for how much. The more availability you have for your pool, the money it can make for you and with the potential to earn upwards of $5,000/m to cover the cost of your pool or pay for your next holiday there’s never been a better time to host. There’s also the added bonus of bringing joy to local families who don’t have access to their own pool.

Two years I have tried to teach my kids to swim from one school to another. I regret the money I have wasted . It took three lessons 90 minutes each for my kids to swim independently . Thank you for the team of Nereids.

I highly recommend Nereids! My daughter who has autism learnt more in her first 45 minute lesson with Conner than 18 months at another swim school that was meant to be for children with additional needs.
