They’re not beginners.
They’ve been swimming for years —
sometimes laps at the local pool, sometimes on holiday, sometimes just for fitness.
And yet…
Every few strokes, something feels off.
Their breathing is rushed. Their shoulders tighten. Their rhythm breaks.
They’re not sinking — but they’re not gliding either.
They look around and wonder:
“Why does it still feel so hard?”
They’ve watched videos.
Tried advice from friends.
Some even had lessons in the past — but it never quite clicked.
And deep down, the same quiet thought keeps returning:
“I should be better by now.”
But swimming well isn’t just about effort.
It’s about timing, technique, and letting the water do half the work.
That’s where this journey begins.
Public pool squads often focus on distance.
Group classes rarely have time to correct you.
And friends? They mean well — but they’re not trained teachers.
That’s why so many intermediate swimmers plateau.
They swim harder — but not smarter.
Our stroke correction sessions are built to change that.
It’s not about learning from scratch.
It’s about unlocking the swimmer that’s already inside you.

“My teacher was experienced, knowledgeable, and able to easily explain what parts of the techniques I'm getting wrong… Also a fantastic swimmer and a great guy to spend an hour with.”— JasonWadeDunnEvery lesson is private, tailored, and focused on you.
We don’t follow cookie-cutter drills. We study your stroke, breathing, rhythm, and timing — then refine what matters most.
This isn’t about swimming harder.
It’s about swimming better — with control, confidence, and calm.
Let’s refine what’s already inside you — stroke by stroke.

“Adult swimmer here. Started with zero swimming skills. Learnt freestyle, breaststroke and backstroke in less than 10 sessions… My instructor tailored the lessons to suit my pace and broke down instructions into manageable steps.”— EvThis isn’t about ticking off swim levels. It’s about building a technique that stays with you — for life.
Here’s what most adults improve through our stroke correction program:
Learn when and how to breathe — without breaking your rhythm or panicking mid-lap
Reduce drag. Move smoother. Let the water carry you — not fight against you
Get your arms, kicks, and breath working together — not in separate parts
Build better movement habits that conserve energy and improve long-distance performance
Develop that almost-invisible “connection” that skilled swimmers have — when movement feels easy, not forced
Most of all, you’ll walk away with a new kind of awareness:
Where every movement has purpose — and your body finally works with the water, not against it.
You’ve come this far. Now let’s make every stroke count.
This program is for adults who already know how to swim —
but feel like something’s missing.
Maybe you’ve hit a plateau.
Maybe your body tires too fast.
Or maybe you’re just tired of guessing what’s wrong with your stroke.
If that sounds like you — welcome.
This is the place where technique meets trust, and frustration becomes flow.

Yes — Stroke Correction is designed for swimmers who can already move through the water but want smoother strokes, better breathing, or improved endurance. If you’re swimming 25–100 metres and feel something’s still “off,” this is your next step.
That’s exactly what we focus on. Whether it’s freestyle, breaststroke, or even backstroke — we help you refine your timing, breathing, and efficiency, so you can swim with less effort and more control.
Absolutely. Many of our students learned to swim years ago — but never quite mastered it. You don’t need to start over. We meet you where you are and help you level up with confidence.
If you can swim at least 25 metres without stopping — even if your technique feels off — this program is for you. If you’re still working on staying afloat or swimming in deep water, we recommend starting with our Proteus™ program.
Yes. Most students start with 45-minute sessions once or twice a week — but you can opt for 60 or 90 minutes, and we’ll adjust the frequency based on your goals.
We travel to your home pool or apartment complex pool anywhere in Sydney. In some cases, we can also use ocean rock pools or netted beach areas. Just let us know your location, and we’ll personally match you with the right teacher. Ocean and beach locations are offered exclusively on a limited basis and depend on suitable weather conditions.
That’s completely okay. This isn’t a fixed program — it’s a flexible pathway. We track your progress and guide you step by step. You can continue learning at your own pace.
Just goggles and swimwear. If your pool is cold, a wetsuit or swim shirt can help you stay comfortable. We’ll provide any extra equipment if needed during lessons.
