Nereids Aquatic Coaching Team offers private swimming lessons for junior squads in Sydney, aged between 7 and 12 years old.
This program is for our young students who like to test their skills, train and compete with other youngsters who think likewise. Nereids junior squad program is designed for both recreational, as we always have fun during our swimming lessons, as well as for competitive junior swimmers with higher ambitions and a competitive nature who want to challenge themselves and prepare for School, Zone and Regional swim meets.
Requirement of Private Junior Squads Swimming Lessons in Sydney
There is just one requirement for our junior students who wish to attend private squad swimming lessons in Sydney: To be able to swim at least 25 meters choosing any stroke they wish (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke or butterfly).

Nereids Aquatic Coaching Team provides the parents with several possible options for the organisation of swimming lessons for junior squads in Sydney:
- Gathering the friends of your children who are at the same swimming level and are interested to be trained in a junior squad.
- Requesting your child to join our waiting list. This is possible:
- Either if you have your own 25-meter swimming pool and you want us to match your child with other similar level students or
- If any of our clients, who have such a pool, are interested to organise a junior squad for their children and are looking for other students to compete with.
Objectives of Private Junior Squad Swimming Lessons in Sydney
Private junior squad swimming lessons in Sydney have a different philosophy from the regular lessons for this age group. The basic objectives of the junior squad private swimming lessons program are the following:

It is the Nereids Aquatic Coaching Thetis™ program that is structured to provide your children with all the swimming skills needed to enhance safety and competitiveness.
Thetis Level 1
This is our mini squad program (entry-level) for children ages between 7 and 10 years old who can swim at least 25 meters of any of the 4 competitive strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke or butterfly).
Objectives

- Improve racing starts, racing finishes and turns
- Learn lane etiquette
Thetis Level 2
This is our intermediate junior squad program for children ages between 7 and 10 years old who can swim at least 50 meters of any of the 4 competitive strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke or butterfly).
The Thetis Level 2 junior squad program is designed to prepare our young students for various swim meets such as school carnivals, zone and regional competitions.

- Refine racing starts, racing finishes and turns

- Prepare for School, Zone and Regional swim meets
Thetis Level 3
This is our advanced junior squad program for children ages between 8 and 12 years old who can swim at least 100 meters of any of the 4 competitive strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke or butterfly).
The Thetis Level 3 junior squad program is designed to refine the competitive swimming skills of our young students who want to challenge themselves and compete in school carnivals, zone and regional swim meets.
Furthermore, our program refines the skills of young swimmers who want to participate in inter-club swimming, nippers and water polo clubs.
