Expat and Immigrant private swimming lessons – We come to you

More than 85% of Australians live within 50 kilometres of the coast, and most Aussie kids grow up swimming often. For immigrants and expats who never learned to swim, it can be quite the culture shock to see just how common it is for Australians to spend time in or on the water. It can be an alienating feeling on top of everything else not to know how to swim. However, keep in mind that there is nothing embarrassing about not knowing how to swim. Should you wish to learn, there are many swimming schools available to teach you. But what if you would prefer to learn away from the crowds?

Learn to swim in privacy with mobile swimming lessons
Mobile swimming lessons provide qualified coaches who come to you.

That means you can learn in a private pool at home or at a friend’s house. Nereids Aquatic Coaching have swimming instructors that will come to you and provide one-on-one swim lessons.

Whether you have rarely been in the water or already know how to keep yourself afloat, our coaches will work with you to help you meet your swimming goals.

At home, you can take all the time you need to build up your confidence, skills, and experience in the pool. Plus, you can do it away from the crowds of Aussies who have been swimming their whole lives.

Get more out of your time in Australia
In many places around the world, you can go your whole life without necessarily needing to know how to swim. Yet when you arrive in Australia, you quickly learn how much swimming is part of the culture.

It could be a pool party at a friend’s house or a day at the beach. There are always countless opportunities to get in the water.

By learning to swim, you will be able to get more out of your time in Australia.

You will be able to fully immerse yourself in what it means to be Australian. Plus, you will see just how much fun it can be to splash around at the beach.

Just like trying Vegemite or enjoying a hot Christmas, learning to swim will make your time in Australia that much richer.

CALD swimming lessons with Nereids Aquatic Coaching
Nereids Aquatic Coaching celebrates Australia’s cultural diversity, and often works with expats and immigrants to improve their swimming skills and their confidence in the water. In fact, it all started with founder Nikos Vasilellis, who comes from a diverse background himself.

We offer Cultural and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) swimming lessons for children and adults in Sydney. We are also a Culturally Qualified Centre and our coaches come from a variety of backgrounds.

We are so proud to offer swimming lessons in Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Greek and other languages.

Two years I have tried to teach my kids to swim from one school to another. I regret the money I have wasted . It took three lessons 90 minutes each for my kids to swim independently . Thank you for the team of Nereids.

I highly recommend Nereids! My daughter who has autism learnt more in her first 45 minute lesson with Conner than 18 months at another swim school that was meant to be for children with additional needs.
